I'm so glad you got to spend your daughter's birthday with her! I'm sure shopping & sharing coffee/cookies was WONDERFUL for BOTH of you as you share dreams. I personally can't imagine hiking much of any trail beyond about 2 or 3 miles ... but I too am OUT OF SHAPE!
So, as for me ... my first plan this year is to CATCH UP on my own blog. I haven't posted in FOREVER - but I have so much to say & tell. :) See you over there soon, I hope!Connyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12140942085281292589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7999470421794540589.post-40843469819344175542011-01-02T17:46:39.796-08:002011-01-02T17:46:39.796-08:00I'm with you; sometimes rereading a Bible vers...I'm with you; sometimes rereading a Bible verse can just smack me in the head like I never saw it before. I love that!

I've read through the Bible in one year twice. It's going to be a real challenge to do it in 90 days, and I hope you succeed.

May God just pour Himself into you this new year.Mary @ Neat and Tidyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00160435782347545564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7999470421794540589.post-14147612854028443062010-12-30T12:32:10.353-08:002010-12-30T12:32:10.353-08:00Wow, you are brave taking on the 90-day challenge....Wow, you are brave taking on the 90-day challenge. I have read through the Bible in a lot of different ways, but don't think I could read through it that quickly. I am planning on doing something quite a bit different this year using Psalm 119. As for goals, I am going to be setting some, and will post about them as soon as I have them sort of solidified.Mrs.Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00392321745556290343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7999470421794540589.post-55677637608340778982010-12-30T09:25:57.920-08:002010-12-30T09:25:57.920-08:00Your Joanna sounds adventurous ~ Does she have a b...Your Joanna sounds adventurous ~ Does she have a buddy who will hike with her??

It's always encouraging to 'see' something new in God's Word! Best wishes for mastering the 90-day challenge.

Some years ago, my husband decided we should each pick a book and read one chapter/day and record one verse to meditate on and share with the family. I was in Judges in August of 2009, and have made it to the middle of Ezekiel. I've taken lots of detours with NT books along the way, but it's ALL good! =)

God's New Year Blessings to you!melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04021320182522447827noreply@blogger.com
