We made it thru another winter though - I'm SO ready for "summer"!!Connyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12140942085281292589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7999470421794540589.post-2573900096423973582011-05-16T11:29:30.399-07:002011-05-16T11:29:30.399-07:00Thank you for visiting, ladies. It's so nice to get visitors.

Mrs. T, I only plant flowers that need little tending 'cause in the summer the majority of my time is spent in the veggie garden. I can't have flowers that take too much time. Our enemy here on this new land is slugs. I've never had so many of them... all summer long. I saved a bunch of egg shells to put around the plants this year. Hope that will help. Not everything I plant survives, but most of the perennials come back eventually. It's fun to see what will and what won't grow.

Mmmmm summer. Just love it!Mrs. Doughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07703464320152527607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7999470421794540589.post-65735915023459789492011-05-16T10:57:20.084-07:002011-05-16T10:57:20.084-07:00So happy to see a new post from you! I got chives from my dad's garden last year and they are thriving!Mrs.Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00392321745556290343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7999470421794540589.post-1849443206084293652011-05-16T10:09:36.462-07:002011-05-16T10:09:36.462-07:00Amen!
